Service and Maintenance
Keeping your Porsche special.
Staying on schedule with Porsche factory-recommended maintenance is the single most important thing you can do to protect your vehicle's performance, warranty coverage, and resale value. Porsche maintenance intervals are model-specific. A Macan's schedule differs from a Cayenne Turbo, and a Taycan's EV service timeline is different from either. At Porsche Milwaukee North, we track your vehicle's complete service history and alert you when the next service milestone is approaching.
Superior servicing with no surprise.
When you’re driving your Porsche you want to know what’s ahead. Maintaining it should be the same. Porsche Maintenance Plans make it easy for you to keep track of scheduled maintenance services, to budget accurately, and to maintain your Porsche always in optimum condition. Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan (PSMP)
The Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan (PSMP) is a prepaid service plan to maintain your Porsche at its best, and maintain your peace-of-mind.
Simply choose a plan tailored to your requirements, then focus on enjoying the drive. Meanwhile, your maintenance costs will be fixed for the duration of the plan. You can choose any participating Porsche dealership to carry out the scheduled services. And the regular recommended servicing – by skilled Porsche technicians using Porsche Genuine Parts – will help to maintain your Porsche’s retail value.

Porsche Predictive Maintenance
Knowing what maintenance your Porsche may need, and when, can help you to maintain the optimum performance of your vehicle at all times. Over-the-Air predictive maintenance gives you exactly that knowledge. With levels of wear continually and automatically monitored, then communicated to you, you will be aware of future service or repair requirements before they become critical – enabling you to plan your Porsche’s workshop appointment for a time that suits you best.
)
Prepared for Wear and Tear
Maintaining Porsche performance and driving pleasure means regular replacement of wear and tear parts. Safe braking, for example, demands replacement of brake pads at the recommended intervals, or sooner if they have reached their wear limits. Replacing wear and tear items with only Porsche Genuine Parts will ensure longer life and peak performance.
)
The Right Oil for Your Porsche
The high-performance engine in your Porsche demands a high-performance engine oil. That's why we fill your Porsche engine with fully-synthetic Mobil 1 at the factory. For improved performance, less wear, lower fuel consumption and longer engine life, we recommend you the same.
The liquid engine component
Every component of your Porsche is engineered to work with every other, to deliver optimum performance. The engine oil is no exception. A true high-performance oil does far more than simply lubricate your Porsche’s engine. It plays a vital role in optimizing performance and reliability, and ensuring a long engine life. That’s why it’s so important to choose an engine oil tailored to your Porsche, and to change it regularly according to the service schedule. Only then can you be sure it always retains the properties which make it – and your Porsche – perform.

Service Interval Indicator
Your Porsche is equipped with a Service Interval Indicator (SII) that monitors driving conditions and calculates when service is due based on actual usage, not just mileage. In some cases, aggressive driving or extreme temperatures may trigger earlier service. We recommend never dismissing an SII alert, as delayed service can affect warranty coverage and accelerate wear on critical components.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Porsche have a Service A and Service B schedule like Mercedes-Benz?
Porsche does not use the A/B terminology. Instead, Porsche uses a Service Interval Indicator (SII) and published model-specific maintenance schedules. Major maintenance milestones typically fall at 20,000, 40,000, and 60,000 miles and include progressively more comprehensive inspections and fluid replacements. Your owner's manual contains the complete schedule for your model.
What happens if I miss a Porsche service interval?
Missing a factory-recommended service interval can affect your Porsche warranty coverage for related components. For example, if engine damage occurs and you cannot document the required oil changes, the claim may be denied. Beyond warranty, delayed maintenance accelerates component wear, particularly in high-performance engines running modified oil viscosity from extended use.
Do I have to take my Porsche to a dealer for warranty maintenance?
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to have warranty maintenance performed by a qualified non-dealer service center, provided they use parts meeting OEM specifications and the work is documented. However, Porsche Milwaukee North uses Genuine Porsche Parts and factory-approved fluids, and maintains your service record in Porsche's system, something independent shops cannot offer.
How long does a Porsche major service take at Milwaukee North?
A comprehensive major service, including oil, filters, fluids, spark plugs, and inspection, typically takes a full service day, approximately 4 to 6 hours depending on the specific items included. We offer loaner vehicles for all major service appointments so your day is not interrupted. Early morning drop-off is available from 7:00 AM Monday through Saturday.
