2024 Porsche Taycan vs 2023 Porsche Taycan
Serving Milwaukee, WI
When the Taycan launched in 2020, it made waves as Porche’s first all-electric vehicle. It has impressed its drivers since that time with the incredible power and agility drivers expect from the Porsche brand. As an elite, four-door car, the Taycan’s stunning array of features has continued to evolve, elevating the driver experience year after year. In 2024, however, the Taycan is a continuation of the 2023 model year.
Performance
The first of the five trim levels for 2023 and 2024 has a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels and generates 321 horsepower. Two battery pack sizes are available. A mid-level, all-electric system with dual motors and all-wheel drive produces 429 horsepower. Two other configurations are available; they both have a dual-motor system with all-wheel drive. Their outputs are 509 horsepower and 616 horsepower. Some trims have mechanical upgrades like larger brakes, rear-wheel steering, wheel-wheel torque vectoring, customizable drive modes, an adaptive and sport-tuned suspension, and a few others.
Appearance
The 2023 and 2024 Taycan share a prowling yet sporty façade established by low ground clearance and muscular arches through the profile. From the side view, you can appreciate smoothly defined fenders and a crisp, descending element crossing the lower door panels. The nose has a low-profile, rounded bumper and a unique take on Porsche’s classic teardrop headlights. On the Taycan, the headlights display upper and lower LED ribbons, and black molding spins off in two directions. Exterior gear could include a panoramic glass roof, adaptive headlights, up to 20-inch wheels, heated side mirrors with an auto-dimming function, and other trim-dependent features.
Features
The features available across the 2023 Taycan’s trim levels carry into 2024 without change. Some of the optional and standard features are a 16.8-inch curved display screen, a navigation system, heated seats, a wireless charging pad, remote monitoring, forward collision mitigation, a Bose audio system with 14 speakers, or a higher-end Burmester sound system, blind-spot monitoring, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, a four-zone climate control system, massaging front seats, a night-vision camera and many others.
